A-CERO

Joaquín Torres (1969) and Rafael Llamazares (1970) created A-cero Joaquín Torres Architects in 1996 to develop architecture projects from start to finish. Today they have a team of more than 50 professionals spread across their two offices in Spain, their office in Dubai and another in the Dominican Republic. "Our work method begins from the in-depth study of the client's programme of needs: we imagine, we project, and we persuade".

A2ARQUITECTOS

Studio founded by Juan Manzanares Suárez and Cristian Santandreu Utermark in 2006, devoted to the creation, adaptation, modification and management of architectural and urban spaces of every kind. The studio’s work includes building, urban development, interior decoration,  furniture design, renovation and new building. It specialises in projects linked to the tourism sector and has undertaken numerous projects in different hotels in Spain and France.

ADN DESIGN

ADN Design was founded in 1990, initiated by Carlos Alonso, Brigitte Sauvage and Carlos San José. Innovation, studies on the needs and aspirations of the user, identification of sonsumer trends and integration of production processes summarise their work philosophy, which has made this studio one of the most advanced in product design. The product is the point where marketing and production meet, and it must therefore fulfil the goals of the company in the most creative and effective way. This requires a proactive attitude and the ability to understand the company so that a successful product can be defined together.

AGV ESTUDIO

Aitor García de Vicuña (Vitoria, 1970).He studied for a diploma in industrial design from the Escuela de Diseño de San Sebastián (San Sebastian Design School) and the Escuela Experimental de Diseño de Madrid (Experimental Design School of Madrid). During this time he also participated in interior design projects. He went on to work for some years in various engineering studios and technical offices. García de Vicuña then joined Spiral Comunicación as a partner and head of the industrial design department. In 2003, he founded AGVestudio, developing integral industrial design projects which always focus on habitat, work spaces, and urban furnishings.

AIR PROJECTSDESIGN

Air Projects was founded in 2000 by Inés Rodríguez, an architect, who was later joined by interior designer Raúl Campderrich. The multidisciplinary studio, located in the heart of Barcelona, undertakes a wide range of domestic and international projects. Durability, balance and the use of materials which are valuable in their own right and impeccable execution define its designs.

ALEGRE DESIGN

Alegre Design is a design firm, founded in Valencia in 2001, that brings innovation and value to people and companies through products and services. Alegre Design applies Design Thinking to create great user centered products and design services to open new market opportunities. They call it Agile Design. Its main services include Business Design, Design Research and Product Design.

ALEJANDRO VALDES DESIGN

Alejandro Valdés began his professional career as an industrial designer in Milan and Barcelona, working with the Bonetto Design and Mario Ruiz studios. He solidified his reputation as a furniture designer in 2019 when, after 10 years on Lievore Altherr Molina's team designing many furniture collections for renowned design companies, he opened his own studio in Barcelona specializing in product design and development.  His work is an invitation to appreciate the calm gestures and formal elegance that results from a search for balanced and timeless objects, born from a passion for design, industry and manufacturing.

ALEX FERNANDEZ

Alex Fernández Camps was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1972. He trained as a technical architect whilst practising as an artist in various disciplines such as painting, photography and installation, as well as simultaneously beginning his work in industrial design. His designs have been recognised by national and international mentions and awards. Alex does not work on the object, but the person and the situation, therefore he composes pieces more simply and functionally and makes them as versatile as possible. He has mostly worked for furnishing and lighting companies and in urban installations.

ALVARO CATALÁN DE OCÓN

Álvaro Catalán de Ocón started off by studying industrial design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan (1999-2000), later graduating with honours from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London (2000-2004). In 2004 he opened his own studio in Barcelona, where he designed the fantastic ‘LA FLACA’ lamp - winner of the Design Plus Award (Frankfurt) - before upping sticks to Madrid in 2009. Since 2007, punters have been able to marvel at his works on display at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery in Milan. During 2011 and 2012 he conceived and carried out the project for his ‘PET’ lamp, one of his most iconic products. This allowed him to create the ACdO: his studio's platform for self-produced design which he uses to distribute some of his most personal pieces. In each new project, the design process is geared to guarantee maximum honesty of processes and materials in order to offer not just an object, but a sensation. Each of the studio’s pieces are produced locally, using high-end industrial processes and Barcelona-based specialised artisans of different nationalities. Each piece is crafted with great love and care in the studio, ensuring the quality and finish required of a long-lasting collection of products. Fans of his work can view some examples that are included in design collections on display at the Centre Pompidou and the National Centre for Visual Arts (CNAP) in Paris, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and M+ in Hong Kong, among others. His designs have also received various prizes and international nominations.

ANDREA SANTAMARINA

Graduate in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and L'Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna (Italy), she founded her own studio in Madrid in 2011 from which she designs objects, installations and graphic work for galleries, institutions and cultural festivals. Her designs have been exhibited in galleries, design centers and museums in London, Milan, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Istanbul and Brisbane (Australia). She is also a university professor and consultant on design and contemporary gastronomy and is Director of the Food Cultural Lab at the Instituto de Empresa.

ANDREU CARULLA STUDIO

Product design studio with a marked Mediterranean accent. They have a broad design vision, working from the conceptual and experimental side with new materials and processes, to the development side, all the while trying to make the user smile.

ANIMA DESIGN

Anima Design is an international design and product-development agency with more than 20 years of experience, headquartered in Barcelona and with offices in San Sebastian-Donostia (Spain) and Shenzhen (China). It works in various sectors, focusing mainly on sustainable mobility, science & health, software, and home appliances, among others. The company's team is made up of experts in innovation, design, engineering, and marketing, all with extensive international experience.
The company has worked for more than 100 clients, developing more than 110 patents and exporting more than 70% of its creations. The products they have designed or produced have received more than 60 internationally prestigious innovation and design awards.

ANTONIO SATURNINO

Designer with a wealth of experience developing his work in a wide range of different companies. His designs have been exhibited at international fairs in Valencia, Madrid, Munich, Avant Garden of Cologne, Copenhagen and Milan.

APPARATU

Xavier Mañosa, the designer behind the ceramics firm Apparatu, was born in 1981 and studied industrial design at La Llotja and graphic design at LA BAU, both in Barcelona. He has taken part in several events for emerging designers in tradeshows and fairs all around the world: Stockholm Furniture Fair, 100% Design Tokyo, ICFF New York, in the Talents section of Tendence (Frankfurt) and at the London Design Festival, Handled with care, contemporary ceramic works.

ARNAU REYNA

Ramón Arnau and Mariola Reyna founded the Arnau Reyna design studio in the city of Valencia in 2018. They design products that connect with the user and the spaces they inhabit, starting out with simple ideas that evolve throughout the design process. They create timeless pieces that are not influenced by short-lived trends, and believe in design as a strategy, as an intangible tool that is a fundamental pillar for companies that drives productivity and growth.

BARBOSA SPACE PROJECTS

BENEDITO DESIGN

Formed in Barcelona by Ramón Benedito and Maite Prat, Benedito Design has been dedicated to product design and development since 1973. Benedito Design´s primary focus is the design of electronic and computerized appliances, technical and scientific instruments, machines and tools, lighting, domestic objects, elements for installations and contruction, packaging, and furniture. In the course of Ramón Benedito´s trajectory, concepts of semi-artesanal design have coexisted comfortably with those of the latest technology, projects of small dimensions with those of high investments, experimental design processes and projects have been linked as much with traditional uses as products conveived for new utilities: since the beginning of his professional life he has developed under the mark of diversity.

BLOOMINT DESIGN

Interior design studio with a Barcelona-based perspective on the rest of the world. Their projects have a common denominator: prior investigation of space and client, staying in touch with history and surroundings, while focusing on person-to-person interaction and enhancing the identity of the project site. The studio seeks to create something new, at the same time unveiling existing resources and paying constant attention to tradition and innovation. The blend of diverse experiences with different cultures has enabled them to develop close, flexible communication to identify with customer needs.

BoO Barcelona

BoO Barcelona  is a young company operating on the European market. It is divided into three areas, each with separate functions which work together. Industry: Boo is involved in the production of most of its articles, although it also manages production for external customers, specialising in the metallurgy sector. Publishing: Boo commercialises its products and manages the creativity of external designers. Studio: responsible for handling Boo product design and development as well as commissions for external customers.

BORGOS PIEPER

Architecture and design studio with offices and associates in London and Barcelona. The office´s work pursues design excellence at every scale of the built environment; from urban to product design. Projects are approached addressing different construction scales (city, building, object), combining exquisite attention to detail and attentive costumer service. Their work emphasizes sensitivity to context, incorporating regenerative architecture concepts, improving Real Estate through building resilience and adaptability, dynamizing and improving property value while seeking timeless and responsible projects.

CAPELLA GARCÍA ARQUITECTURA

Capella García Arquitectura is a studio founded in 2001 by architects Juli Capella and Miquel Garcia, in Barcelona, whose passion is architecture and design, in whatever form. Since then, they have developed a diverse portfolio of projects, with very different scales, offering a complete professional service with creativity as an added bonus. In recent years, the studio has specialized in the field of hospitality, leisure and entertainment, taking on the challenge posed by the current boom in this sector. The studio's conceptual proposal opts for functional and contemporary design, with a singular touch, finding inspiration in organic Mediterranean creativity to create cozy and expressive spaces.

CARLOS TÍSCAR

Carlos Tiscar received his degree in industrial design in 1982 from the Applied Arts School in Valencia and then continued his studies at Milan´s Polytechnic School of Design. His professional career began in 1987 as a member of the Factoría Diseño Industrial (that year he was also selected by Valencia´s City Council as representative to the Biennale for Young Mediterranean Creators in Bologna). In 1991, he became a founding partner of the consultancy Gesto Design Management, and in 1993 he opened his own studio, which has developed projects in different areas, ranging from office stationary design to staging exhibitions. He currently designs furnishings for homes, offices and facilities as well as serving as art director to certain clients. At Present is the President of ADCV (Designers Association of the Valencian Community).

CARRASCOBARCELÓ design studio

This Barcelona-based industrial and product design studio created by David and Miguel Carrasco in 2010 offers innovative, custom-made solutions. Their previous work in other design studios such as Magma design and design teams of companies such as Faladesa and Infinity System has contributed a dual vision to the studio. This allows the product development process to be optimised, which contributes freshness, originality and innovation. Their commitment to design makes them take care over all aspects of the product, from how it works to its interaction with the user in an attempt to maintain an honest and realistic vision of design without ever losing sight of the real objective as regards their customers, to achieve a successful product.

CISZAK DALMAS

Ciszak Dalmas is a design studio founded by Andrea Caruso and Alberto Gobbino, with a studio in Madrid and other bases in Turin, Sao Paulo and Hong Kong. The studio is developing new types of products, space design, branding development and communication.

CLAUSELL STUDIO

Founded in 2013 by the designer Vicent Clausell after 10 years working in different sectors and countries, Clausell Studio is totally dedicated to industrial design and consultancy in product development, while also embracing other related services. One of its first starting points for undertaking a project is to achieve a very high quality in technical and aesthetic terms, thanks to extreme formal simplicity, a considered choice of materials and a passion for creating work that’s been ‘cooked’ to perfection.

COMPEIXALAIGUA

We are passionate about objects that demand interaction and ephemeral spaces that only work for the customers for whom they were conceived. Our aim is not only to create objects that are independent beings, but ones that grow, develop and transform through relationships with the user and the user’s interaction with the object attained through morphological changes and perception.

CONCEPTO OTOstd

CONCEPTO OTOstd is a container of emotions; a studio for ideas, projects, creativity and life. Throughout its 25 years it has created spaces in which aesthetics overwhelm the emotions. National and international designers and its founder lead a young, hungry team who seek to improve everything they touch. Their vision for interiors is of the most sensitive, because with just the five senses the true meaning of art can be found.

CREAM ESTUDIO

CREAM is a multidisciplinary team specialized in architecture, design, interiors and landscape. The company is headed by architects Elisa Battilani and Angel Cerezo Cerezo. Their design style in a few key words: storyteller, innovative, conceptual, material and light. They like to describe themselves as “designer makers.” They love working with materials and moving from conceptualizing ideas to making them real in a comprehensive and holistic way. They designed outdoor luminaires for Escofet1886, a kinetic façade for Aguas de Barcelona, metal designer furniture, indoor luminaires and outdoor furniture for several companies in the sector.

CRISTIAN ZUZUNAGA

Printed textiles is the field Christian Zuzunaga has chosen to work in since graduating from the RCA two years ago with an MA in communication art and design. Moroso, Ligne Roset and Christian Delcourt have upholstered sofas and chairs in Zuzunaga fabrics to stunning effect, while the designer has created a scarf for the Tate Gallery. Christian says he is inspired by 'essence and abstraction, randomness and repetition' and by colour, which, he says, evokes emotion and feeling in us and acts as a counterpoint to rational thought.

CRISTINA GUARDIOLA

Cristina Guardiola, Barcelona 1984. Cristina studied a BA in Product Design at Eina, Escola de Disseny i Art in Barcelona. She worked with Luky Huber carrying out projects for elBulli and Escribà and also takes on freelance graphic and interior design projects. She has developed a course of creativity at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.

CROUSCALOGERO

CrousCalogero is a design studio founded by Francesc Crous and Alessandro Calogero in Barcelona in 2009. Their training with leading designers and later experience in major companies provided them with the opportunity to get involved in all phases of the projects, seen through the eyes of the designer as well as from a corporate perspective. Their experience in innovation enables them to integrate ethnographic, marketing and research-based concepts into the design process. The result is competitive and forward-thinking products offering solutions defined by their differentiation and creativity.

CUARTO INTERIOR

This young creative design outfit dreams up all types of spaces, personalising each aspect of a project and incorporating the latest technologies into living spaces. Its Cuarto design collection stands out as a strong, new idea in the world of Spanish design.

CULDESAC

The core team of CuldeSac and the permanent group coordinanting its activities, is comprised by Alberto Martínez (Master Royal College of Art. London 2000), Pepe García (Master Royal College of Art. London 1999), Francisco Pons (Graphic Design Escuela de artes y oficios de Valencia) y Pilar Roger (Industrial Design and Graphics, Univerisdad Cardenal Herrera del CEU San Pablo, Valencia). CuldeSac is much more than a design studio. Set up in August 2002 as a "creative space", CuldeSac is an open dynamic space where creatives from differente fieldscan meet and join forces to develop shared projects under one common denominator: multidisciplinarity. CuldeSac not only offers its services to companies in search of solutions to their problems, but also to all types of professionals, to anyone with an interesting idea worth pursuing, and exciting freesyle lab for observation, investigation and project development.

DANIEL GANTES

Daniel Gantes is a product design graduate who studied at EASD Valencia. After a few years creating unconventional designs for the home, he began developing ideas linked to the sleep and relaxation sector. He is currently introducing his design, Buenas Camas — under the unusual concept Gantes1944 — to interiors projects, designers, specifiers and consumers.

DEAR DESIGN STUDIO

Deardesign studio was founded in Barcelona in 2005 with the aim of creating unique spaces that reflect the essence of brands. The studio specializes in interior design for retail, restaurants, offices, educational spaces, as well as in ephemeral architecture. Representing a major focus in its design process, it develops custom, fair, contemporary concepts which respect users’ well-being. The studio is also constantly researching into new forms of expression in line with current needs, using an eco-design approach. Some of its notable projects include: the Moritz Concept Store (in collaboration with Jean Nouvel), Canòdrom Parc de Recerca Creativa for the Barcelona City Council, Custo stores, airport restaurants for the Eat Out Group, spaces for UPF Barcelona School of Management, and offices for Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation.  Deardesign studio has worked on projects for brands such as the LVMH group, Torres, Munich, Custo Barcelona, Nike, Adidas, Burberry, and LG Electronics, to name a few, and also in a number of countries including the United Kingdom, Korea, Mali, Russia, Norway, Colombia, France, Italy and Taiwan. It has received awards in Spain, China, England, Germany and the USA.

DGS - Design Studio

A graduate of Industrial Design from the University of Valladolid, with a Masters in Interior Design from the IED in Madrid, Daniel García Sánchez has worked for companies such as Estiluz, Repsol and Siemens. Having lived in London and Mexico, he now resides in Madrid where he collaborates with other studios and makes his own line of products.

DIBA

This industrial designer offers a wide variety of products ranging from items for decorative and technical lighting to furniture for children and even products for oral hygiene and cleaning.

Diego Fortunato

A feral creature whose magical lineage goes back to the secret union of Snow White and The Dragon. His objects, which have been doing the rounds for over a decade, are surprisingly simple and utterly uncomplicated. After his industrial design degree was auctioned off for 3€, he lives happily ever after.

DIEGO RAMOS

Industrial designer Diego Ramos founded his design studio in 2006 after studying in Barcelona and at the Royal College of Art in London. He has created a wide range of products, from packaging and product design to furniture. His work has been widely exhibited in Switzerland, Brazil, London and Japan.

DISCOH DESIGN

Discoh Design was founded in 2008 by Kiko Gaspar and Miguel Abarca after eight years of joint collaboration in different design studios and companies in Italy, Barcelona and Valencia. The work of Discoh has arisen from the conception of industrial design as DISeño COHerente. Their work's common denominator is always the search for COHerent results, avoiding reactionary trends and designs, with the sole purpose of creating objects which respond to need. Discoh Design understands design work as a tool which must be applied to all product development phases.

DSIGNIO

DSIGNIO is a Integral Design Studio located in Madrid that executes international projects. It was founded by Alberto Bejerano and Patxi Cotarelo in 2002, both of them Technical Engineers of Industrial Designs and Interior Design Master. DSIGNIO focus its activities in the Industrial and Interior Designs, working for nationals and international companies. They have received several prizes and have participated in different showrooms. The professional practice has been combined with teaching, taking part in conferences and class in different Universities in Spain and Mexico.

eddadesign

EDDADESIGN is a design studio founded by Jordi Milá in 1995. Its orientation in the initial stage was toward product design and development but today its positioning is shifted to the entire design by experience, the best measures to establish a profound tie between consumers and the brand. Totally oriented toward consumers, the service of the studio is differentiated with its unique methods, ability, and technology. Their methodology understands the product gestation process in four stages: identification of potential needs, architecture of value, design and staging. The staff includes professionals specialized in a variety of activities, such as anthropologists; specialists in marketing strategy; product, software, communication, and model designers; and engineers. Winner of two awards from the Red Dot Design Award in Germany collaborates.

EDEESTUDIO

Having trained in Valencia in Industrial and Interior Design, Eduardo Alcón (1978, Valencia) and Esther Albert (1972, Alicante) decided to join forces in 2008 following their journeys through various design studios. Currently, Edeestudio is based in Valencia, where they work in the field of industrial, graphic and interior design for various firms in the sector.

EDUARDO ALBORS

Eduardo Albors specialises in the design of lighting products as well as product and image consultancy. Always in search of balance, the objective of his work, in addition to innovating, is to fulfil the consumer's requirement of rational design, with which he aims to satisfy, in formal terms, modern criteria and, in financial terms, commercial purposes. His collaboration with companies is not limited to product design rather he extends it to consultancy, to management of projects by other designers and image consultancy, by supervising advertising and promotion activities.

EGUE Y SETA

Egue y Seta is a multidisciplinary, flexible design studio founded by two ex-postgraduate in Barcelona, with a second studio located in A Coruña and a third opening shortly in Madrid. Egue y Seta designs spaces and settings (permanent and temporary), for business, sale or brand positioning, always ensuring its clients the highest profile and optimum display quality for their products and services.

EL ÚLTIMO GRITO

El Ultimo Grito is the creative partnership of Rosario Hurtado and Roberto Feo. Their work continuously researches our relationships with objects and culture, exploring them across disciplines, through art installations and commercial projects for clients such as MAGIS, British Airways, Marks & Spencer, Science Museum, Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofia, Mathmos, Nola, Lavazza or Abet Laminati. El Ultimo Grito’s work has been widely published and awarded, and is in the permanente collections of museums such as MoMA in New York, Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Stedlijk Museum in Amsterdam and Kulturhusset in Stockholm. Roberto and Rosario lecture at Goldsmiths University and the Royal College of Art, and are Senior Design Research Fellows at Kingston University.

ELI GUTIERREZ

Eli Gutierrez is a cosmopolitan designer born in Valencia (Spain). After completing her studies in her home city, she moved to London to study a Master in Product Design at the Royal College of Art. This next step will help her to shape the clear and elegant vision of her own language honing her keen sense for materials, colours and textures. After this experience she has been living in Milan and Paris where she has collaborated with some of the most well know design studios as Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck and India Mahdavi.In 2016, she founded her own studio between Paris and Valencia, focusing on product design, interior design, installations and concept creation. Her cosmopolitan and cross-cultural approach can be defined as a « World Citizen», an explorer attentive to detail, a traveller with a contemporary and incisive look remodelling the traditional codes of our environment, featuring unique embedded stories, often expressed with an eloquent and fresh elegance.

EMILIANA DESIGN STUDIO

Ana Mir and Emili Padrós, (both were born in 1969) graduates of the masters´programme in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martin in London, founded the emilian design studio in 1996 with a view to developing both joint and individual projects. Their work ranges from the interior design of a private jet to product and furniture design as well as teaching and organising and designing exhibitions. The studio is characterised by its capacity to provide clients with a new approach for each project, its experimentation with materials and active involvement of users, withour ever losing sight of the functional, technical and production aspects. Their designs have been featured at international exhibitions (New York -MoMA 2005, Amsterdam, Lille, Milan, Lousiana, Paris...) and some from part of the Fond National d´Art Contemporain of Paris.

ENBLANC

Enblanc is a multidisciplinary studio created in 2007. Since its creation they have developed international projects in the worlds of industrial design and graphic communication in search of practical, simple and coherent solutions. Their projects have been displayed in numerous exhibitions and galleries in Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, Finland, Tokyo. The prizes they have won include the Designer's Association of the Community of Valencia (ADCV) prize 09 for their Zas lamp for Ona, the Accésit Injuve Prize 09 and the Nude-Bancaja Grant for their Form project. Carlos Velasco, Paula Aloy and José Aranda are the members of Enblanc.

ENORME STUDIO

ENORME Studio is an architecture and design firm based in Madrid and led by Rocío Pina and Carmelo Rodríguez. The studio is characterized by its radical approach to architecture, the city, and people. They design and build architectural projects based on industrial systems and typological innovation, in addition to participating in city construction dynamics. Its objective is to encourage alternative ways of examining urban problems and to motivate the creation of a proactive citizen culture.

enPieza! eStudio

enPieza! eStudio was co-founded in Madrid by David Tamame and Lucas Muñoz in 2005. Two others — Alejandro Couchoud and Stéphanie Maurey — joined the company four years later. Since 2014, the studio’s members have been David and Stéphanie, and its goals are to create original objects with a strong identity — unusual, fun or ironic products that arouse feelings in the user and always provoke a reaction. Their starting point is achieving functionality, while they aim to be timeless, are made with great attention to detail and manufactured to a high standard. The company also offers clients a personalised service.

ENRIQUE MARTÍ

Enrique Martí Aguilera, born in Valencia in 1972, studied technical engineering for Industrial Design at the Cardenal Herrera CEU University from 1992 to 1995. He followed this with a Masters in Product Development and Design at the same institution. Currently, he works as a product designer and developer for key companies in the Spanish homeware industry, such as Andreu World and Paco Capdell, among others, as well as in technical assessment and product management.

ENRIQUE MUDA BULL

Freelance artist, space, product and creative advertising designer. Conceptualisation and development of projects for brands and institutions, and personal projects.

ERNEST PERERA

Ernest Perera combines his sculpture studies at the Fine Arts Faculty with industrial design at the Elisava School in Barcelona. He founded Ernest Perera Design Studio in 1999 and designs products and experiences to help companies become more competitive. Each project is defined by new concepts with ad hoc solutions. In 2006, he set up his own home-product maker Amor de Madre, which gives him the freedom to create and experiment with diverse articles for households and their members. Since 1998, he has taught at several design universities in Barcelona. He has worked with companies including Camper, Lékué, Delica, Mago Urban, Almalight, Museo Picasso, Rumitag, Artesanía de Cataluña and ADI-FAD. He was selected for the DELTA ADI-FAD awards in Barcelona 2009 and won first prize at Les Découvertes Awards for Maison  Objet, Paris (2008). He has exhibited at galleries worldwide and featured in diverse international design publications.

ESTUDI AROLA

Antoni Arola began working in 1984 at Alberto Lievore and Jorge Pensi´s studio. He then went on to work as head of the interior and industrial design department at Associate Designers. In 1994, he opened his own studio where experimentation, the element of surprise and dialogue came to form a backbone for projects that often varied in theme, materials and means. This is exemplified by the studio´s wide repertoire of projects, ranging from interior design and ephemeral spaces to the design of lamps, containers, objects as well as industrial design. Arola also teaches at the Eina School and sat on the FAD Awards jury. He collaborates with profesionals such as Pati Núñez, Pablo Martín, Peret, Patrick Thomas and Javier mariscal, to name a few, and has exhibited his paintings and sculptural work at the Galería Palma XII in Vilafranca del Penedés.

ESTUDI MANEL MOLINA

Manel Molina studied interior decoration and design at the EINA School of Art and Design in Barcelona. From 1985 to 1989, he worked as an industrial designer at Estudio Miguel Milán, and in 1991 he partnered with Alberto Lievore and Jeannette Altherr to establish the studio Lievore Altherr Molina, where he was active in industrial design work, consulting and art direction for several companies around the world, offering customized solutions. In 2016 he founded Estudi Manel Molina, which undertakes furniture, product and communication projects.

ESTUDI RIBAUDI

Estudi Ribaudí works with ideas, lets them grow and then transforms them into objects and spaces. Led by Jordi Ribaudí, it comprises a team of five designers and interior decorators who mix creativity, materials and technology, transforming them into spaces and objects with identity. Estudi Ribaudí works with furnishing, lighting and fashion companies.

ESTUDIO CARME PINÓS

After being recognised internationally along with Enric Miralles for projects such as 'Cementerio de Igualada', Carme Pinós founded her own studio in 1991 taking charge of projects that had already began such as the School-home in Morella. Since then she has participated in many projects in Spain, France, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Venezuela and Cuba and she has received many prizes for her work. She also combined her activity as an architect with teaching and has participated in numerous seminars, courses and workshops as a visiting lecturer in various Universities in the US, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.Its first furniture collection is Objects.

ESTUDIO CARMEN BASELGA

Carmen Baselga has been an interior design expert since the mid-1980s. In her studio, she works on a variety of projects: interior architecture, landscape architecture, commercial and cultural exhibition spaces, and scenographic spaces. Over the course of her career she has coordinated and directed various cultural projects, designing and curating exhibitions for organizations such as Fundación Telefónica and Fundación la Caixa. She has been a member of the jury for a number design and interior design awards. Worth mentioning are the First Prize Plaza Matadero de Madrid, nomination as a finalist in the FX 2010 awards and also in the FAD 2004 awards, the Tendencias 2018 Award for Interior Design, and in 2022 the ADCV Award in the Ephemeral Spaces category.

ESTUDIO JI

Jorge Frías and Irene Zurdo (Madrid) have worked as architects since 2005 and founded Estudio ji in the same year. They initially developed public and private tenders, where they won their first awards. Now, Estudio ji combines different design disciplines with architecture and teaching. In 2013, they opened Estudio ji/ Altea, their own studio + designer space with a showroom where they also exhibit their own furniture and textile jewellery designs.

ESTUDIO NÓMADA

Estudio Nómada, José Antonio Vázquez Martín (Architech) and Enrique de Santiago (Interior Designer), results of the sum of different personal trajectories which converged in 2008 in Santiago de Compostela (Spain). Currently the studio is oriented towards architectonical projects with a special emphasis to the details and a strong link to interior design, seeking to produce a unified concept. This aspiration to get involved in all facets of the pro-cess pretends to differentiate the studio and exploring new disciplines outside the established profession, such as furniture and industrial design, graphic design, events planning, etc. but always with the same rigorous working process as on architectural projects.

ESTUDIO TERESA SAPEY

This studio works both with public and private organisations, collaborating with other professionals in the world of art and design. In 2005 they completed an international project for Hotel Puerta de América in Madrid, for which they designed the car park. In the same year, they won a competition organised by Madrid City Council for the reforms they made to the public car park on Plaza Vázquez de Mella. Other projects for international fashion firms include projects for Custo Barcelona (in Madrid, Milan, Paris, Las Vegas, and Kuwait) and the new stores by Mandarina Duck. Estudio de Arquitectura Teresa Sapey regularly publishes items in national and international publications. The publishing house Mondadori - Electa published the work Sapore Sapey in 2005 to celebrate a decade of work by this studio.

ESTUDIO VITALE

Estudio Vitale was created in Castellón in 2005 and is headed by Santiago Martín, Carlos Folch and Lucía Chover. The studio specialises in Corporate Design and adopts a global outlook which incorporates every aspect of brand image. It covers: interior design; corporate, commercial and retail spaces; product design; graphic design and communication. Its philosophy is to create products and spaces from a responsible strategic perspective where design is an integrating factor and contributes to brand creation.

FLUYE

Fluye, industrial design studio is formed by Paola Cerdá Sánchez and Berta Recatalá Clemente both techniques in industrial design engineers who have supplemented their training with a master's degree in ´Design Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Francesc Gasch

Born in Barcelona in 1986, Francesc Gasch studied Industrial Design Engineering at Escola Superior de Disseny Elisava and graduated in 2007. In 2009 he graduated in Higher Degree in Product Design at Escola Superior de Disseny Elisava. During this period, he participated in different workshops focused on product design with leading companies like Bayer or Decathlon. In 2010 founded his Barcelona based studio, after live almost seven months in the north of France, where he worked as a product designer for a French brand. The same year, he won the 5th Edition of Hi-cooking Castey International Design Awards Contest as “the most functional” project. Since then, he works in a diverse range of projects including both industrial design products to furniture collections.

Francesc Rifé

Interior and industrial designer, Francesc Rifé (Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, 1969) founds his own studio in Barcelona in 1994. Influenced by minimalism and following a familiar tradition linked to craftsmanship, his work focuses on ways of approaching spatial order and geometric proportion. Currently Rifé leads a team of professionals from several design fields. His projects, national and international, embrace from interior to industrial design in the commercial and private sectors. Throughout his career, Rifé has been awarded with prizes from the field of design like Contract World, Red Dot, ICFF Editors, HiP in Chicago, FAD, and several ASCER awards.

GABI TEIXIDÓ SABATER

This industrial designer, creator of famous products, specialises in office and domestic furniture and lighting. He has been working professionally since 1974 and has collaborated with some of the sector´s major companies. Among other activities, he has won several important awards and has also taught at EINA, the art and design school associated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona

GABRIEL CORCHERO STUDIO

After working in art and design for more than 20 years, Gabriel Corchero has honed his own, personal style, which is founded in simple lines and the search for harmony in the final piece. This has led him to a new professional milestone: art director for the highend jewellery company Carrera y Carrera. In this capacity, he has developed a new image for the comany, generating communication concepts, presentations and spaces that until that time had not been used in this sector before. He is currently involved in the luxury goods´sector and is working for a selection of companies in fashion, jewellery and cosmetics.

GCA ARQUITECTOS ASOCIADOS

GCA aquitectos asociados, a studio with headquarters in Madrid and Barcelona, boasts twenty years' experience developing architecture, town planning, and interior design projects both for the administration and for the private sector. These projects include office buildings, hotels, apartment blocks, houses, shops and shopping centres, and furniture and fittings. GCA has acquired an international reputation within the fields of architecture and interior design with projects for hotels in Paris, London and Prague, offices in New York, Brussels and Lisbon, and shops in New York, Athens, London, Paris, China and Taiwan.

GEMMA BERNAL

Gemma Bernal (Barcelona 1949) is a multi-faceted designer who, in her 40 year long career, has created objects ranging from furniture and lighting, to toys, electrical appliances, homeware, healthcare and urban furniture. In 1969 she was awarded a Delta de Oro for a shower telephone made for the company Raydor. She currently combines her designing with teaching, giving classes at EINA, ESDI and for the Mayfly Architecture Masters of the University of Barcelona.

GOULA FIGUERA STUDIO

Álvaro Goula (Barcelona, 1989) and Pablo Figuera (Madrid, 1988) met while studying at the Elisava school (Barcelona). In 2012, they left the studio they had founded with friends to create Goula/Figuera Studio, where they develop contemporary product design for companies from different countries, experimental design and creative consultancy. From 2013, to their work as designers they add university teaching, and in mid-2015 they present the Lines & Dots lamp collection, their first self-produced product. Lines & Dots is acclaimed by the press and has a great reception in the market. After two years of growing sales, in 2018 they launch GOFI, a new brand that expands the product portfolio towards furniture and accessories. Their work has been exhibited in cities such as Stockholm, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona and Milan, and has been awarded, among others, with the Delta de Oro, Design Plus, Premio Injuve and Lexus Design Award.

GUILLEM FERRAN

Guillem Ferran has worked as a product designer for Novell / Puig Design and as a furniture designer for Emiliana Design Studio. He has also worked for a number of large companies including Decathlon and Benetton’s La Fabrica in Treviso. He is currently working on several projects, including industrial design and art direction.

HAYONSTUDIO

The Spanish artist/designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid 1974. He trained as an industrial designer in Madrid and Paris. In 1994, he began working as a researcher in Fabrica, Benetton Group´s communication research centre in Treviso, Italy. A year later he was appointed by Mr. Luciano Benetton and communication guru Oliviero Toscani as head of the design department, where he oversaw the development of interiors for shops, exhibitions and restaurants as well as books, magazines and logo designs. In 2004, he began his solo career and has kept himself busy with eclectic projects, from toys through to furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations. His boldness has been in transcending the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, merging his own style seamlessly with the two.

HUGOTEJADASTUDIO

Hugotejadastudio is a multidisciplinary design studio whose activity is more graphic design orientated than industrial, where services are provided to both private and public companies. The studio was founded in 2011 by Hugo Tejada in Valencia City. This studios philosophy is innovation and product functionality, always striving towards unspoilt objectivity. Maintaining their unique identity and providing brand awareness and value are key values in order to meet with individual company requirements.

HÉCTOR DIEGO

Héctor Diego established his own studio in 2001 in Valencia, working in industrial design, product development, exhibitions and art direction. Formal precision and a concern for harmonious proportion are fundamental aspects of his work. In the projects he's undertaken, he aims for timelessness and avoids passing fads. He designs for renowned companies for which he has created a huge variety of projects – furniture, exhibitions, lighting, bathroom fittings and office and street furniture. He also worked as an art director for some clients. He received the prestigious Good Design awards, given by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, for his Plane bench and Highback Noon sofa in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The pieces are now part of the museum's permanent collection.

HÉCTOR RUIZ-VELÁZQUEZ ARCHITECTURE

Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez has a Degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, USA, with studio professorships from Harvard University and Columbia University. He founded his own private architectural firm in 1992 as a culmination of extensive professional practice that spans large-scale architectural projects to corporate image projects. His studio is characterised by its diversity not only in terms of culture but also concerning professional disciplines. The studio spans projects from urban development to graphic design, industrial and interior design, photography and integral corporate images.

HÉCTOR SERRANO

Product design studio, ephemeral spaces and ideas laboratory founded by industrial designer Héctor Serrano in London in 2000. After a decade in the British capital, he moved to his native Valencia where he continues to create products and spaces that attract people in the most human, emotional and extraordinary way possible. The search for innovation and personality, while maintaining timelessness, simplicity and attention to detail, is his label in each of his projects.

IGNACIO GERMADE

Ignacio Germade (Malaga 1967) has been working as a designer and creative director for the last 20 years. He has ran design groups in a number of multinational firms including Motorola, Sapient and IDEO creating global solutions for companies like Motorola, Xerox, Polaroid, Fila and IBM receiving design awards such as the IDSA Design Excellence Award, ID Interactive Media Award and i-D Magazine Award. Some of his work has been exhibited in Boston, London and Hong Kong and he has been a member of the Advisory Board for the British Design Council.

Isaac Piñeiro Design Studio

Barcelona-based product design studio founded by designer Isaac Piñeiro in 2017. Based on the search for efficiency in conception, production, and design, the studio develops intuitive products. Media, museums, and international shows have regularly featured its work and it has won prestigious international awards including the IF Design Awards, the Red Dot Awards or the Best of the Year 2017 by Interior magazine.

JAIME TRESSERRA

Jaime Tresserra Clapés, the Tresserra Collection's exclusive designer, was born in Barcelona in 1943. He was brought up in a family of actors and fashion designers who taught him that special sensitivity so recognisable in his work. In 1987 he made a profound career change with the founding of J.Tresserra Design, which would later go on to be called Tresserra Collection SL, and presented his first homewares collection at the Valencia International Furniture Trade Fair in which he was awarded the prize for Best Modern Furniture Design for his "Secreter Carpett." Jaime Tresserra has designed exclusive pieces for numerous private clients and has his own showrooms in Barcelona and Paris. He is currently developing a collection based on a new concept of sculpture-furniture: Tresserra Gallery.

JAVIER HERRERO

Javier Herrero studied industrial design at the Cardenal Herrera CEU University and Milan’s Polytechnic University, training under lecturers of the stature of Enzo Mari and Massimo Morozzi. He began his career back in 2004 at Ebualà, working on numerous projects for companies operating in the furniture and bathroom sectors such as Sancal, Novum and Expormim. Following the winding up of the studio, in 2009 he embarked on his solitary career, continuing to develop his previous work and taking on new projects and challenges. He works regularly with Luzifer Lamps on the development of both their stands and products.

JAVIER MARISCAL

Ever since Javier Mariscal (b. Valencia, 1950) clutched a pencil to make a living, his career has been characterised by its creative incontinence; by this he means the need to express himself through different fields, artistic or otherwise. Furniture design, painting, sculpture, illustration, interior design, graphic design, landscaping, gardening, horticulture... all are part of his profession and his life. Mariscal founded his studio in 1989 and expresses himself through a personal language that is complex in its intention and simple in its manifestation, innocent and provocative at the same time, allowing him to innovate, take risks and communicate, teasing the eyes of his audience as a bond develops between those who look at his work.

JMFERRERO-ESTUDI HAC

Founded by José Manuel Ferrero, estudi{H}ac has been conceived as a design atelier, specializing in tailored projects for product design, interior architecture and the creation of ephemeral montages. All of them tailored for each customer, creating unique, timeless spaces or products that amaze onlookers thanks to their initial visual impact and the story behind them.

JOAN GASPAR

Joan Gaspar began his career at the company Vapor in 1988. Four years later he was collaborating with several companies, and in 1996 he was named creative director at Marset Iluminación. For Joan Gaspar "the issues of whether a product is good or not depends on the designer and largely on the company that produces it and, above all else, on how it is produced, how it is launched, explained and promoted". For that reason, he considers his personal involvement throughout the entires process as essential. In 2001, he established his own studio, working for the most prestigous producers in the national arena. His functional objects seek to trascend fashions and trends in order to achieve a lasting appreciation.

JOAN LAO

Born on 3 July 1962 in Barcelona, Joan Lao is above all a conceptual designer, creating furniture and lighting pieces and other objects, as well as large-scale interior design projects that always transmit a feeling of peace and balance. His interior designs have a unique quality: they stimulate an immediate and enduring emotional response. His interior design projects have been mostly based in private houses and apartments, hotels and commercial establishments, for which he has received numerous awards. During his 22 years of activity, he has completed nearly 3,000 projects.

Joan Rojeski

JON GASCA

Jon Gasca was born in San Sebastian, he got his degree as industrial Engineer. He has been following the line that Jesus Gasca started in Stua many years ago. Jon works as designer and art director for the furniture company STUA. His design portfolio includes the following products: Malena armchair and sofa. Summa table. /> Nube armchair. For Stua he edited the book 'A Simple Way' and he oversees all graphic design for the company. In addition, he is designs the exhibition stands for Stua at trade fairs worldwide and designed the interiors of the STUA showrooms. JON SANTACOLOMA

He was born in Bilbao in 1973. He studied business science at the University of Deusto, obtaining a degree in Business Science and Economics in 1996, having specialised in the areas of marketing and commercialization. Following his time at Deusto, he obtained a grant from the DZ Design Centre to study industrial design for three years. He concluded his studies at De Montfort University in 2000, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honourable Mention) in Product and Furniture Design. Since December 2000, he has directed the design studio he founded, Ideilan Design, for whom he has developed numerous projects for private companies and public bodies, including B-lux, Lino Alonso, Magefesa, Solac, Laster, Biplax, Sidenor, Metro Bilbao, the University of Deusto, Diputación Foral de Bizkaia (the Bizkaia Provincial Council), and the Basque Government, as well as Centros Tecnológicos del País Vasco (Basque Technology Centres), and various companies and centres in the regions of Castilla and Leon, and Asturias.

JORDI CANUDAS

Born in Barcelona in 1975, Jordi Canudas trod the path to the RCA’s postgraduate product design course, graduating in ’07. Now part of the Okay Studio, Jordi is inspired by action… stretchy fabrics, elastic bands, metal springs and he likes to create products that change. His Less Lamp for Metalarte, for example, has a ceramic shade that the user has to break with a hammer before light emerges. His Raincatcher expands when it rains.

JORDI LLOPIS

Jordi Llopis is a renowned industrial designer, with academic training at the ELISAVA School in Barcelona as well as the Royal College of Art in London. He currently runs his own design studio called Jordi Llopis Design, in Barcelona, and is co-founder of Brots, the well respected publisher. His work involves developing innovative designs for the world of lighting and urban elements, whilst designing and producing his new collections for Brots. "The excuse is to design for oneself as a self-commissioning entity, without previous premises, filters or compromises, in order to come up with a fresh, very personal, original and coherent product to offer to the public."  Jordi Llopis also collaborates as an external lecturer at ESDI and ELISAVA Alumni. and is a tutor for the ESdesign Barcelona Master´s Degree. Among his many other impressive credentials it´s worth pointing out that he has been a juror in the Ei! Awards of ELISAVA in Barcelona, and has given workshops at the University of Aguascalientes in Mexico and at ELISAVA. His groundbreaking "Lifelight" lamp is part of the permanent collection of the 'Museu del Disseny' in Barcelona, and in 2020 he received the Delta de Bronze Delta Award for Almalight's Tribeca USB and Fuji lamps.

Product designer who founded his own studio in Barcelona in 2011. The studio offers design and vision services to companies and institutions, providing them with new perspectives and good design solutions. The relationship with the client is fundamental to the success of his design work. Offering real solutions that are smart and creative, building fluid in-depth communication is key to providing results based on his understanding of design.

JORGE HERRERA

At Jorge Herrera Studio, we love detail. Our work consists of a constant search for simple, focused design ideas because we consider design to be a tool for making complicated things easy to use. We believe in strongly differentiating our company from our competitors to further our success, although we never claim to be reinventing the wheel or tearing up the rulebook. We only explore those avenues which lead to intelligent and practical solutions which also trigger innovation. JORGE PENSI

After beginning his professional career in his native Argentina, the architect and industrial designer Jorge Pensi moved to Spain in 1975, where he bacme naturalised. He established himself in Barcelona in 1977, where he joined the Grupo Berenguer, collaborating with Alberto Lievrore until 1984, the year in which he founded his own studio, which specialises in furniture and lighting design, the visual image of his products and the setting up of different kinds of events. Together, Constanze Schuetz, Diego Slemenson, Román Proubasta and Toni Casares make up Jorge Pensi Design Studio.

JOSE ALBERTO GONZALEZ

He qualified as an Industrial Design Engineer in 2007 and later that year exhibited several of his personal projects at the Valencia Habitat Trade Fair at 'NUDE', a space for new designers. His first press appearances came in the light of this exhibition. Also in 2007 his works were selected for inclusion in 'Entrantes 07', an exhibition for young designers. His designs were again featured at the 2008 edition of ‘NUDE’, as well as in magazines such as AD, the New York publications ID and SURFACE and Proyecto Contract. That same year he began work as a product and interior designer for “Eve Eduardo Terradez” whose collaborators include prestigious designers such as Jaime Tresserra. In 2010 he exhibited his works at the Zaragoza Design Show, held at the city’s exhibition site, in the Young Design Talent Space, and at the 2010 edition of the Saint-Étienne International Design Biennale.

JOSEP RUÀ

Designer and interior designer Josep Ruà heads up his own eponymous multidisciplinary team, which designs and carries out residential, commercial and temporary architecture projects. The studio sees being innovative and forging its own identity as an everyday challenge. It always tries to envision new aesthetic languages, while taking a handcrafted approach, whenever possible. Its personalised, original, timeless projects realise the dreams of all its clients or enhance the image of its products. The studio aims to create unique spaces in our globalised world where everything seems transitory and throwaway.

JOSÉ A. GANDÍA BLASCO

José Antonio Gandía-Blasco Canales was born in Ontinyent, Valencia, in 1956. He studied Law at the University of Valencia, but never practised. Following this, he returned to the family business of blanket making. A strong artistic restlessness drove him to reconsider the business model and the focus of the organisation. In 1989 he contacted Valencian studio La Nave and transformed the company's image. Hence the current brand image was born, recognisable by the slender cat logo, and then came his first collection of designer rugs. Although initially his designs were received cautiously, currently his designs, both for textiles as well as for outdoor furniture, are some of the company's biggest successes. Being his own connoisseur eventually paid dividends.

JUAN ARES lab

Juan Ares's design studio — which is part of the 'slow design’ movement — was founded in 2012. Its furniture is produced under essentially qualitative parameters and in a restrained way. Juan Ares promotes the manufacture of its furniture in local workshops and by businesses deploying traditional craftsmanship. Yet it also takes an innovative, iconoclastic approach. A respect for the environment and a belief in recycling are central planks of the company’s philosophy. Its creations' unique aesthetic is rooted in a search for an interaction with the sea’s structure via design. Our souls belong to the sea.

KAWAMURA Y GANJAVIAN

Kawamura-Ganjavian is an architectural and design studio that was set up in the year 2000 by Key Portilla-Kawamura and Ali Ganjavian. After meeting in London, where they both studied, they have worked in different countries: India, the US, Japan, Great Britain and Switzerland in the fields of town planning, architecture, set design and industrial design, in both a professional and an academic capacity. In 2006 they opened their headquarters in Madrid and in 2011 they opened a branch in Lausanne. They are founding members of the multidisciplinary creation platform Studio Banana. The studio comprises a wide variety of levels; work is done in the fields of product and building design, ephemeral architecture, environmental and interior design, construction projects and territorial studies.

KUTARQ STUDIO

Kutarq is a multidisciplinary architecture, product and interior design studio. It was founded in 2012 by Jordi López Aguiló, an architect/designer who, after working at internationally-recognised architectural firms in Paris, Copenhagen and Barcelona, set up his own studio in Valencia with the idea of creating products which interact with their users and influence their mood, while promoting the use of recycled materials. Each project is the fruit of a thorough design process, in which trials, experimentation and research play a very important role.

LA MAMBA STUDIO

A multi-disciplinary team. Its various design trends have been formed in such a way to consolidate new design concepts with ways of thinking in encouragement of their ideals. Its mission is to achieve change and communicating feelings through each one of their designs, as a way of making the objects more emotive.

LAGRANJA DESIGN

Lagranja Design is a multidisciplinary studio/workshop founded in 2002, whose designs for products and spaces always aim to put an emphasis on people. Lagranja works mainly within Spain and Italy, and develops both industrial and interior design projects. The Key piece, a bicycle park designed for the company Santa&Cole and winner of a Red Dot Award, is particularly noteworthy. The Lagranja Design studio combines professional activity with teaching (Elisava, Eina, IED Barcelona).

LIEVORE ALTHERR MOLINA

Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina make up the Lievore Altherr Molina studio since 1991 and have collaborated on projects with companies in Spain, Italy, Germay and the United States, creating furniture and lighting desing for firms of international renown. They also realise interior desing and industrial desing projects and lecture at various seminars at universities and foundations in Spain, thus collaborating in the training of new professionals.

LIGHTING DESIGN COLLECTIVE

Lighting Design Collection brings a creative touch to Lighting Design and light consultancy services, incorporating the most advanced knowledge and the latest lighting technology. Its designers are internationally recognised and have experience spanning more than twenty countries across Europe, America and Central Asia.

LLUSCÀDESIGN

LuscáDesign has specialized in industrial desing services and product development since 1972. It has collaborated on new product strategies with clients in various sectors, including public equipment, electrical appliances household items, lighting, furniture, leisure products, toys, applied and consumer electronics, packaging and containers. The team values its ability to communicate with their clients´ marketing and R+D teams as well as its highly versatile work methodology in order to adapt to each project and provide creative, innovative and competitive solutions.

LOS DIEZ

This studio is made up of two brothers: industrial designer Javier, and interior designer José Luis. This fact is reflected in their designs by complementary approaches to such facets as scale, patterns of use, clients and time. Their projects range from the intimate scale of bathroom pictograms to concrete pieces for the urban environment. Their approach to projects in not a linear it doesn´t aim directly at the commissioned product, but rather takes a circuitous route that ventures into art, philosophy and poetry - territories in which they aim to involve their clients and, particularly, the users and purchasers of their designs. They were represented at the Diseño Industrial en España and Pasión Diseño Español exhibitions.

LUESMA & VEGA

Luesma & Vega is a Barcelona-based design and manufacturing studio that specialises in avant-garde china for cutting-edge cuisine. It deploys hand-crafted manufacturing methods at every stage, using the latest glass-based technology. Its experience in the sector originated in 2004, when it collaborated with Ferran Adrià, former chef of restaurant El Bulli. It now collaborates with well-known chefs and restaurants, producing pieces to go with their menus.

LUIS ESLAVA STUDIO

Born in Valencia in 1976, where he grew up and is now based, Luis Eslava qualified as an industrial engineer in 2003 and in 2004-5 moved to London to take a post-graduate course in product design at the RCA. Before setting up his own studio, he worked as a freelance for El Último Grito, and for Camper, Nash & Flower, Gemma Bernal and Okusa Ltd in Japan. Luis Eslava’s work has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions at Valencia, London, Lisbon, Milan, Tokyo, New York, Korea, Pekin… Some of his main achievements are: Silver Delta ADI-FAD AWARD 2007 for MARIA USB, INJUVE award Young Designer 2006 and was finalist Bombay Sapphire Prize Innovation use of glass competition 2005.

LUIS VIDAL + ARQUITECTOS

Founded in 2004 by Luis Vidal, Luis Vidal + Arquitectos is a creative platform that offers responsible, quality designs in addition to seeking original solutions to today's urban and architectural problems. Specialising in airports and hospitals, Luis Vidal + Arquitectos is also involved in urban planning, construction and industrial design projects. It advocates ethical architecture where people are provided with the best quality of life and its designs have a marked social, economic and environmental commitment. In very little time, this studio's steady trajectory has transformed it into a benchmark in innovation and commitment to the search for functional and flexible designs in the international arena. It has designed projects such as Heathrow Airport's new Terminal 2 in London.

LÚCID Design Agency

We are a creative agency that aims to create business opportunities through design. We design unique brands and products in order to boost the growth of our client’s businesses. LÚCID core business is focused on our 'From mind to market' Product Design division following each phase of the comprehensive development of a product. To support the global product development we set up the Corporate division based on corporate image, branding, packaging, graphic, web and communication.

MADE STUDIO

Made Studio was founded in 2017 by architects Borja Garcia and Laura Ros. Together with their team, the studio proposes new ways of looking at projects, with a renewed, reestablished maturity. The main concern in the development of architecture and product designprojects  is to make people's lives easier, more balanced, sensible, and efficient. The team is made up of industrial design and architecture professionals who join forces to offer a broad overview of the projects. The studio has received numerous national and international awards, such as the Red Dot Design Awards, the Delta Awards and the ADCV Awards, and has participated in exhibitions and publications around the world.

MAGMA DESIGN

Design studio Magma Design, which specialises in strategic innovation and product design, was founded in 1995 by industrial designer Toni Clariana. Boasting a versatile, multidisciplinary team, it undertakes projects in a wide spectrum of fields, including railways, sanitaryware, electrical household appliances, electronic products, contract seating, office furniture and collaborative methodologies. It carries out projects on an international level through its offices in Hong Kong, Istanbul and Casablanca.

MARC MORRO

In 2008, Morro started Surtido, a platform for emerging Spanish talents that produces small collections. He designed the T-SD Mod.4, a prototype made from plywood and constructed so that the material's thickness doesn't impact the overall measurements. "I really just want to get a really cheap and quality piece", he says.

MARGOT VIARNÉS

Margot Viarnés (Figueras, Girona, 1965) studied at the Elisave design institute and began her career at the Pepe Cortés and Nancy Robins studios. In 1989 she opened her first studio. She won, at a young age, the Valencia Furnishing Fair's national design prize in the students section, and has subsequently had various pieces submitted for the FAD awards. She has participated in various industrial furnishing expositions and international fairs in Cologne, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Milan, Paris, Brasilia and Athens. Her works have been published in leading international design publications such as Wallpaper, Interni and Arquitectura y Diseño. She is currently practising prêt-à-porter furnishing from her company, with works serialised for the public and made to measure design tailoring. She enjoys Japanese architecture, French art deco and Indian furniture.

MARIANO

Since 1999, Mariano has been fully committed to the comprehensive development of architecture and design and believes that the client should have a key role throughout this process.

MARIO RUIZ

In addition to his work as a designer of technology-related products, Mario Ruiz has gathered wide experience as the author of office furniture and lighting projects as well as more household-oriented pieces. Here the technological component, always present in the work of Ruiz and his Costa Design team, favours a positive dialogue between the object and its environment; a language based on the lightness of forms, experimentation with materials, and care in the treatment of surfaces and colour. The Actar publishing house has published Mario Ruiz/Costa Design, a monograph devoted to his work.

MARTI GUIXE

Martí Guixé (Barcelona, 1964) works as designer. His multifaceted activity revolves around his philosophy: “concepts and ideas for commercial purposes”. This generic definition allows him to work in several areas, from commercial interiors and showrooms through to communication campaigns, events and publications, with a very special concept of product design and culture. Trained in Barcelona and Milan as an interior and industrial designer, Guixé started his own studio in 1997. He founded a company specialising in developing commercial concepts, based in Barcelona and Berlin. He is co-founder of the label Ex-Designer, and since 2006 has also been the Art Director of B-Sign, a design firm based in Barcelona. Martí Guixé has worked as a design adviser and brand strategy consultant for the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (Seoul), Desigual (Barcelona) and Very Lustre (South Africa). In 1999 he received the Ciutat de Barcelona Design Prize, and was awarded the National Design Prize in 2007 (Premis Nacionals de Cultura, Generalitat de Catalunya).

MARTIN AZUA

Martín Ruiz de Azúa (b. Basque Country, 1965) is currently living in Barcelona. He graduated from the University of Barcelona with a degree in Fine Arts, specialising in Design. He has a postgraduate degree in Architecture and Design of Ephemeral Installations from the Universidad Politécnica de Barcelona and currently works as a designer for different companies. In 2004 he started the design studio Azúamoliné with fellow industrial designer Gerard Moliné. He teaches History of Design at the Elisava School. He collaborates with several companies as an industrial designer, an activity he combines with his research work. The latter has been included in several solo and group exhibitions in Barcelona, Milan, Berlin, Vienna, Paris, etc... Some of his projects have also been published in prestigious international publications. He recently received the Ciudad de Barcelona Award.

MASQUESPACIO

Masquespacio is an award creative studio created in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse. Combining the 2 disciplines of their founders, interior design and marketing, the Spanish design agency creates custom-made branding and interior projects through a unique approach that results in fresh and innovative concepts, which have received constant recognition from the specialized design, fashion, and lifestyle media.

MAYICE

A multidisciplinary studio where architecture, design and art are all integral to the philosophy of its co-directors, architects and designers Marta Alonso Yebra and Imanol Calderón Elósegui. The studio's dynamic, restlessly creative spirit has led it to work in such diverse areas as architecture, design, designing structures, exhibition stands and pavilions and developing materials, among other things. A concern with functionality, form, beauty and structure is present in all their projects.
 

Mediodesign

Mediodesign is a design, production and consultancy studio that works on unique projects in the areas of architecture, interior design, product design, furnishings and advertising. It innovates, creates, designs and produces special objects, furnishings and installations. The studio specialises in the use of CAD/CAM numerically controlled cutting and design systems and the company is a point of reference in Digital Production in Barcelona. It markets its collection of designer furnishings that is designed and produced in Barcelona abroad. The collection includes high-quality designer tables, seats and lamps for a demanding market.

MERMELADA ESTUDIO

Mermelada Estudio, founded by Juan Miguel Juárez, Laura Blasco and Alex Estévez, is a brand that focuses on industrial design. They produce innovative items coherent with their surroundings. They work with ideas, giving special importance to conceptual, formal research and searching for the essence of objects in order to reach a harmony in the surfaces that they make. Their latest projects include the Carmen lawn stool, the Winter table with vase and the Maya lamp for Almerich.

MERRY DESIGN STUDIO

Interior design and decoration studio, specialized in creating spaces for the hotel and restaurant sector. For this studio, each project is a new challenge and thanks to our experience, we are able to provide proper solutions that guarantee final results. It also brings up together the most avant-garde trends with the elegant touch of the traditional, nourished by the passion, creativity and special sensitivity of a multidisciplinary team that conceives design as a tool for creating spaces that generate emotions. They focus on the individuals who are going to inhabit and enjoy the spaces, and on what is going to happen in them, more than just aesthetics. This humanistic approach took us to develop a number of hotel and restaurant projects of different scales, in many countries around the world.
 

MFM Interiorismo

Design studio MFM Interiorismo is headed by Martín Félix Massa, who studied interior design and architecture at the University of Coruña, and has an MA in architecture and design. His work encompasses technical drawing, draughtsmanship, graphic design, 3D graphics, advertising and generating ideas. He has also sat on a judging panel at the Elisava school of design and engineering in Barcelona, which is affiliated to Pompeu Fabra University. He combines his projects with research into sustainable architecture and design. Boasting over nine years’ experience in architecture, design and his own brand of creativity, he undertakes projects both in Spain and abroad. 

MIGUEL HERRANZ

Miguel Herranz has realised industrial design projects since 1994, responding to a diverse variety of needs and objectives and completing conceptual, highly technical, commercially oriented and experimental projects alike. He works in differente fields: furniture, lighting, cars, products as well as interior and stand design projects. His goal is to create pieces that make the most of the potential and the virtues of each company he works with, emphasising diverse parameters on each project whilst pursuing a singular result.

MONEO BROCK STUDIO

Architects Belén Moneo and Jeff Brock set up Moneo Brock Studio in 1993 in New York. Between them, they have a wealth of experience when it comes to design, interior design, town-planning and landscape architecture. Mainly based now in Madrid, their work involves the analysis and further development of an architecture that responds sensitively to its location, be it the surrounding landscape or urban context. The studio is committed to environmentally friendly and innovative design, a creative vision and efficient service.

MORGUI SÚNICO

Fifteen years ago, Ferran Morgui opened his own studio. He had spent several years as head of the product and environmental design división at Quod Disseny i Marketing and in the image and new product department at Galo /Ben. Morgui Súnico´s team includes qualified professionals in various fields of design: architectural interventions and interior design for hotels, commercial spaces, houses, corporate image, exhibiton spaces, houses, corporate image, exhibiton spaces as well as commercial presentations and events. For ICEX this design house has exhibited at Design Made in Spain and at ICFF in New York (2204), whilst for SIDI it has designed various stands at European trade fairs and has taken part in three competitions at 100% Design Tokyo for the design of the SIDISPAIN space. Apart from his design work, Ferran Morgui gives classes at the Eina Design School and at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona

Mormedi is a Spanish consultancy with expertise in various areas of design such as industrial design and design strategy. It also offers a comprehensive service which takes care of everything from initial strategies to final implementation. Mormedi has a multidisciplinary team of designers, strategists, engineers, business development consultants and marketing specialists who work in a wide variety of sectors. The company always approaches projects in a creative, innovative way, devising products and services which give its clients added value, while helping to improving people’s everyday lives.

MR. SIMON

Mr. Simon is a young studio that was founded in 2010 by two designers: Aaron Feliú and Nacho Frías. Industrial Design graduates, they trained prestigious studios such as the Valencian Lavernia & Cienfuegos and the Dutch Demakersvan. Mr. Simon carries out projects related to graphic and product design, with a marked conceptual nature. It is committed to simplicity and synthesis in representation and views design as an ongoing research project searching for new forms of communication. Com-Oda seats - when folded they become a new item of furniture.

MUKA DESIGN LAB

Muka Design Lab, founded in Bilbao in 2011 by Miguel Abajo Pérez and Laxmi Nazabal Gaztañaga, is a studio dedicated to the design of products and spaces as well as graphic designs, which stand the test of time and quality. They see design as a tool to develop differentiated products, not associated with the mass market, thus providing added value to projects. They embrace the “Slow Design” movement, believing in the importance of traditional materials in order to create products that the user finds pleasant, using environmentally friendly materials and not ignoring new manufacturing techniques. International customers mainly in China and the US are responsible for over 70% of its turnover.

MUT DESIGN

Founded in 2010 by Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón, Mut is both a studio and a publisher whose principles are based on emotional design. It was created for experimentation and the continual re-conceptualisation of everyday objects, a trademark that is reflected in each project produced by this bustling atelier. Mut Design is a global design space in which industrial design, interior design, graphic design, branding and multimedia projects are developed. Mut's independent nature has allowed this studio to become a design icon and its regular presence at international trade fairs is leading it further afield. “Mut, a laboratory which is constantly brimming with ideas”

NACHO CARBONELL

Nacho Carbonell graduated in 2003 at the Spanish university Cardenal Herrera CEU and the 27 of January 2007 at the Design Academy Eindhoven, with the projects Dream of sand and Pump it up, both of them had a big coverage by professionals and public who attended the presentation . The designer was honored with Cum Laude. While and after completing his studies he followed internships at Vincent de Rijk and at Joris Laarman Laboratory. Nacho currently works with his team of people at a 20th century church in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, were he has established his studio.“ What I want to create are objects with a fictional or fantasy element, that allow you to escape everyday life”- he says.

NAHTRANG DISSENY

Daniel Vila and Ester Pujol completed their studies in Industrial Design at the Massana School (Barcelona) in the year 2000. That same year, they studied a postgraduate course in design management at ICT (Catalan Institute of Technology) and won the ADI FAD Medal 2000 with their project "carro de vela". In 2001 they founded nahtrang disseny. In their studio, they design lighting solutions, furniture, but also specialise in corporate design and branding.

NANIMARQUINA

Nanimarquina was founded in 1987 as a brand dedicated to the design and edition of rugs and textiles.

NIKOLAS PIPER

Conceived for those impassioned by the work of the creator, it is furniture of outstanding quality fit just for them, not unlike a Haute Couture dress. All creations speak a timeless, unmistakable language of perfect finishes, respect for nature, sensuality and last, but not least, humor.Each design depends on the individual client and their needs, which serve as a fountain of inspiration.

Noviembre Estudio

Susana Sancho and Vicente Porres founded Noviembre Estudio in 2008. Today, they work in a wide variety of disciplines — product design, interior design, marketing and art direction. With each new project, its team adheres to the same goals: innovation and creativity, while reinterpreting tradition. It creates fresh forms in all its products and interiors. Yet these have an aesthetic coherence whatever the context or discipline. The company, which has won many awards, has the necessary experience and enthusiasm to create new things from a totally unique perspective. 

NUEVE ESTUDIO

Nueve is a design and consultancy studio co-founded by Ana V.  Francés and Cristina Toledo in 2012. Its methodology always springs from an analysis and preliminary research of its projects, which allows them to be undertaken in an strategic manner with the aim of responding to its clients’ exact needs. Its projects have won various awards and  have been showcased in Spanish and international exhibitions and publications. 

Nutcreatives

Jon Marín (Barcelona, 1981) is a graduate in Biology and has an MSc. in Industrial Ecology. He has always been interested in other more creative disciplines. He has experience as an environmental consultant and in project management. He is a professor in Ecodesign, Bionics and Turnkey Projects. Àlex Jiménez (Barcelona, 1982) has a bachelor’s degree in Arts in Design, Technical Engineering in Industrial Design and an Msc. in Urban Design. He has professional experience in both small design studies and technical offices of large companies. Nutcreatives is a product design and eco-innovation study which integrates sustainability and social responsibility criteria into all its products and processes.

OAB

The OAB (Office of Architecture in Barcelona) was founded from the fusion of the 35 year experience of Carlos Ferrater with the birth of a group of young architects (including Xavier Martí Galí, Lucía and Borja Ferrater, Núria Ayala…), thus creating a new concept for a professional studio.

OCHOA Y DÍAZ LLANOS

Ochoa y Díaz-Llanos was set up in 2002 to create clothing that is practical, functional and eye-catching. Its designs are based on essential concepts such as quality, professionalism, commitment and innovation. Ochoa y Díaz-Llanos designs have received various Spanish and international prizes and awards and have featured at numerous showrooms, trade fairs and conventions.

ODOSDESIGN

The three designers that make up Odosdesign came together after various years of professional experience and training in different design fields with a view to develop global projects that can adapt to change. Their work is based on one common denominator: the search for new habits and the union of functionality and aesthetics in order to meet their clients´needs in a differentiated way. The studio has also participated in various events such as Nude, Domus Mediterránea, Proyecto d.Artes, ARCO 2004, Showrrom DE+m (Milán 2003 and 2004), Saint Etienne Biennale and Este 2004.

OHLAB

OHLAB is a firm focused on the urban analysis and cultural research of contemporary society through architecture, interior design, and urban strategy. The firm, led by Paloma Hernáiz and Jaime Oliver, was originally based in Shanghai in 2007, then moved to Madrid, and is currently located in Palma de Mallorca where a team of 20 architecture, interior design, and engineering professionals work on a wide variety of projects. OHLAB has received numerous awards for their work in design and sustainability, and their projects have been widely featured in specialized and general media around the world.

OIKO DESIGN OFFICE

OiKo is a design office and materials consultancy focused on the transition to the circular economy, founded by Jose F López-Aguilar and Salva Codinach. Both are industrial designers who studied at the ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering, but Jose then went on to study Environmental Sciences at UAB and obtained a PhD in Materials at UPC, while Salva decided to focus on business and industrial management at various business schools. Design and science as a driving force for creativity, and rigor in decision making. At OiKo our approach to design is based on knowledge of the material and the users’ perception, to resolve new realities and provide companies with products that are more competitive, more sustainable for the planet, and more exciting for users.

OITENTA

Design and craftsmanship studio of sustainable objects for the contemporary lifestyle, aiming to combine design, functionality and craftsmanship, with natural materials. Oitenta creates objects for the daily life of people passionate about design and sharing a living philosophy in which what matters, is to possess fewer things, yet special, and authentic things. The studio-workshop is located in A Cidade Vella, the medieval quarter of A Coruña (Spain), where traditional crafts were formerly established.

OPTA ARQUITECTOS

This multidisciplinary architecture studio, which has its HQ in Madrid, has over 35 years’ experience in projects and works in Spain and abroad. Thanks to its international experience, the studio believes that a location’s unique character, programme and client provide every project it embarks on with a new, distinctive starting point. Its projects vary in scale, ranging from unusual, large projects to highly detailed interventions. The studio, which oversees its architecture projects from initial sketches to working on site, considers sustainability to be integral to good architecture today..

ORIOL LLAHONA

Oriol Llahona is a graduate of the Elisava Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. He has also studied at Germany's Essen University and at the University of Southampton. Professionally, he has been involved in packaging, corporate image, furnishing and interior design and industrial design projects, working for companies which include Adidas and Revlon.

OSCAR DIAZ

Industrial designer Óscar Díaz worked at Matali Crasset Studio in Paris for two years before coming to London to study a Masters in product design at the Royal College of Art. Whilst with Crasset, he worked on projects for Artemide, Danese and Edra among others. He founded his design studio in 2006 and has since worked on a number of projects for clients like Veuve Cliquot, the ICA in London and Domestic.

OSCAR VERA DE LA ROCHA

Designer from Barcelona and co-founder of SerraydelaRocha studio. He has worked for companies such as Roca, Pando, Metalarte, Calma, Sancal, Estiluz, Escofet and Toyota, among others. Director of R+D+I at VONDOM for 4 years, he has collaborated in projects with Eero Aarnio, Karim Rashid, Ross Lovegrove, Ricardo Bofill, Mariscal, Stefano Giovannoni, Eugeni Quitllet or Fabio Novembre. His passion for product design and development, from conceptualization to industrialization, has gained him several awards such as the Iplus 2009 award, Gidi 2011 award for innovation, several AEDP selections and five selections to the Delta Awards. He has collaborated with several Spanish universities and organizations. He is currently collaborating with the UPC University in the Master Industry 4.0.

OZESTUDI DISSENNY SABADELL

Since 1998 Ozestudi has been offering its own line in industrial design (product design) and graphic design. We have a global and multidisciplinary vision of design as a discipline, we do not design for only a few typologies or one specific sector, we just tackle all kinds of problems that can be solved by designing. And we always do it in a strategical way.

PACO LAGO INTERIORIZA

An interior design studio built by a human team who provide functional and aesthetic solutions for spaces that need soul. Their work is based on the following principles: “We create solutions and enable transformations through internalizing and empathizing with the client's needs. Everything passes through our central team: they dream big and demand the best. We dream of transformations without limits. It’s in our DNA.” With their motto "If it’s functional and beautiful, you’ll fall in love", they have done interior design work in the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, Austria, Italy, France and Spain.

PALOMA CAÑIZARES

Graduated as an architect by the ETSAM, Paloma Cañizares opened her studio in 2005, developing at the same time architecture, interior design and furniture design in offices’ projects, commercial spaces, dwellings and ephemeral spaces. In 2011, she creates PCM Design, a furniture design editor which represents both a platform to produce young designers’ ideas with such a good talent and a company with the sensibility to different possibilities of local production for our handicraft and industry development.

Paparajote Factory

Paparajote Factory is a multidisciplinary studio co-founded by Pilar Larrotcha and Sonia de la Iglesia, who design and market their own designs, while also collaborating with other brands. One hallmark of their designs is a strong connection with their origin. They also arouse emotions and establish a dialogue with their owners. The duo's playful work, which conjures up dreamlike worlds, is targeted at children as much as at the contract market. 

PATRICIA URQUIOLA

Patricia Urquiola (Oviedo, 1961) was born in Oviedo (Spain) and now lives and works in Milan. She attended the faculty of architecture of Madrid Polytechnic were she graduated in 1989 having done a thesis with Achille Castiglioni.. Between 1990 and 1996 she worked for the new product development office of De Padova and with Vico Magistretti. In 1996 she became head of the Lissoni Associati design group, working for Alessi, Antares-Flos, Artelano, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Kartell, and others. At the same time, on her own, she designed for B&B, Bosa, De Vecchi too, Fasem, Kartell, Liv’it, Mdf, Molteni & C., Moroso and Tronconi and designed stands and showroom for Knoll, Moroso, Sag 80, and Somma. Her products were selected for the Italian Design 2001 exhibition and for Intenational Design Yearbook 1999 and 2001. In 2001 she was chair of the jury for the 19th CDIM Design Award and was lecturer in the Domus Academy. She is currently conducting her professional activity in her own studio in Milan in the field of design, exhibitions, art direction, and architecture. /> Among the Spanish companies, Urquiola has collaborated with Kettal, Viccarbe and Gandía Blasco.

PEPE CORTES ASOCIADOS

Born in Barcelona in 1946, Pepe Cortés studied design at the Eina school. He won the National Design Award in 2006, which is the highest award given in Spain to designers for outstanding professional work. Throughout his extensive career, he has completed various interior design, corporate image, and building remodeling projects. In 2002, he was awarded the "Santiago Marco Prize" medal by the Association of Decorators and Designers of Catalonia. He has designed furniture for B.D. Ediciones de Diseño, Akaba, Grupo T, Artespaña, Signes, Amat, Technal, Melalarte and Puntmobles (with Cortés, Pepe & Asociados)

PEREZFORTEA

Sergio Perez is an Industrial Designer that since 1999, he has worked as a freelance designer for many companies in Spain, Italy and China. In 2001 he founded Estudioperezfortea, a Studio devoted to furniture design and household accessories. The purpose of Sergio Pérez is to transmit the essence of the best design together with product functionality. He adapts to each company’s individual requirements in an honest manner. PIOTREK PÉREZ

Engineer in industrial design and the development of products for the UPV, Valencia. Student PhD degree in Design, Manufacture and Management of Industrial Projects from the UPV of Valencia, his work is motivated by a constant search for new expressive languages in design, engineering, strategy, innovation, communication and marketing. He has collaborated with product design studios and branding and digital marketing consulting offices in Spain and abroad. With experience in the fashion and sports footwear sector in the Spanish multinational company Joma Sport. He is currently part of the footwear design team at Pepe Jeans London, a brand that is part of the AWWG group.
 

RAFAEL ANGULO DESIGN STUDIO

Born in Gran Canaria in 1974, this artist and designer studied at some of the most prestigious colleges in Barcelona, the UK and Germany. In Germany, he worked as a conceptual designer in the design department of Mercedes-Benz, among other things. He started out as a freelance designer in 2001, undertaking all kinds of international projects in his studio, including products, furniture and interior design in a futuristic, minimalist and modernist style.

RAMON ESTEVE

Ramon Esteve received his architectural degree from Madrid´s ETSA architecture School in 1990. He has realised a wide variety of architectural projects: industrial and office buildings, health centres, private houses, a university building, a hostel and a church. He also works on projects in industrial design, interior design, communication and teaches at Valencia´s ESA Architecture School.

RAMON UBEDA

Ramón Úbeda (Jaen, 1962) is - as Tusquets would say - an architect by training, a journalist by profession and a designer by vocation. He has been the editor-in-chief of De Diseño and Ardi magazines, has contributed to the most important national and international publications, has published numerous books and organised various exhibitions. At the same time, he has developed his broad professional activity as a designer, both graphic and industrial, working for companies such as Rapsel, Metalarte, ABR and Mosaics Martí, although he feels most comfortable in his role as an art director, working within companies. He began collaborating with Bd Barcelona in 1997 as a graphic artist and since 2001 he has also been responsible for all the furniture designs produced by the publishing house. He is also head of image and production at ArtQuitect, an adviser to Metalarte and has been collaborating with Camper since 2006. Furthermore, he has worked on multiple projects with some of today's world leading designers: Ross Lovegrove, the Campana brothers, Alfredo Häberli, Jaime Hayón and Konstantin Grcic.

RAMOS BASSOLS

Ramos Bassols are David Ramos and Jordi Bassols, both industrial designers. The studio started in 2004, after several years of experience in different fields such as urban furniture, tableware, lighting and office furniture. Based in Barcelona, Ramos Bassols offers a personal view on contemporary design, always searching for the balance between form, function and aesthetics. Products with clean lines, yet warm and attractive for the public.

RICARD FERRER

Ricard Ferrer studied industrial design at Barcelona´s applied arts college and later at the Escuela Elisava, where he graduated in 1992. On leaving college, he gradually built up a credible portfolio as a freelance designer and consultant. He has created bathroom accessories for bathroom companies as Cosmic and Roca Sanitario and he has produced pieces for furniture company, Andreu World, Matias Guarro and Almerich´s and for the lighting specialist Metalarte.

RICARD VILA

Ricard Vila studied at the Elisava School of Design. Before setting up his own studio in Igualada in 1999, he worked for Rucker, Manel Ybargüengoitia and Lievore, as well as Altherr and Molina. In 2001 he founded Calot Works S.L., specialising in interior design, commercial premises, restaurants and temporary installations. In 2008 he moved his studio to Espais del Rec, a former leather tannery dating back to the 18th century, a space he shared with various creative studios. A year later, he set up the firm Rec.0 which designs pop-up stores for radical selling. He is currently involved in product, furniture and interior design projects for brands such as DO + CE, Dd, TKT brainpower, Stilus, Criber, Alis-Mooa, Bandalux, Artesanía Catalunya, AB industries, as well as other projects in the development phase.

RICARDO DE LA TORRE

ROGER ARQUER STUDIO

Roger Arquer was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1975 and graduated also in Barcelona in 1998. A year after graduation, he moved to New York City to work as an industrial designer at various design studios. He moved to London in 2003 to earn an MA in Product Design at the Royal College of Art (RCA). While he was at RCA, he had the experience of working with Alfredo Haberli on an ad-hoc basis. He set up his own design practice in London after RCA in 2005, where he is still based. He has received many design awards, including the Opus Design Award, Coram Design Award, and Adi-Fad. He has exhibited his projects at Design Museum (London), British Council Design Exhibition (Milan), Royal College of Art (RCA), On/Off Design Experience (Korea), and Serpentine Gallery (London). He also teaches at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and Camberwell College of Arts in London.

RQR ESTUDIO

Roberto Celada (León, 1970), and Raquel Esteve (Valencia, 1975), industrial design graduates of the ESDI - CEU of Valencia, decided to combine their professional experience and establish rQr estudio, a creative space, which has its head office in Valencia. It offers solutions that are both aesthetic and functional. Their work is designed as a response to the needs of companies but also from an experimental point of view, developing projects that provide an outlet for personal concerns. In recent years, the studio has worked on projects for companies from different sectors such as furniture, bathrooms, childcare, jewellery and toys, as well as other projects within the public sector.

SALAS STUDIO BCN

Starts as an apprentice in 1964 in the studio of the architects Martorell, Bohigas and Mackay. His five-year period in the studio outlines his future as a versatile designer. In 1975 the prestigious English magazine Design makes a special mention of his "fan lamp", exhibited together with the Olivetti writing machine of the master Mario Bellini, but industry was not finished off in Barcelona and did not bet on young values. Nominated in three occasions to the national design prize. He is co-author together with Javier Mariscal of the Hotel Domine de Bilbao, of the restaurant-music hall Calle 54 and the 11nth floor of the Puerta de America Hotel. His stool "Freddy" for Amat-3 is a return to the world of product design and his Clip chair and Paquito armchair for Uno Design are his latest contribution. Teacher at the design schools Eina, Elisava in Barcelona and the Fine Arts Faculty of Salamanca, also invited professor in the "Faculté D'Aménagement" of Montreal (Canadá) and the Bolivarian University of Medellín (Colombia).

SANSERIF

Sanserif Creatius is a multidisciplinary studio situated in the city of Valencia. It works in industrial design as well as furniture, accessories, graphic design, multimedia, etc. Its designers are specialised in company image and creating brands. Among their more notable projects are the cardboard furnishings and accessories for Grupo La Plana, the development of biodegradable fittings and stands for ISER, the flamenco chair-drawer for Muebles Orga and the Ninfo basin, in collaboration with Ramón Úbeda, for Artquitect.

SANTIAGO SEVILLANO STUDIO

This Valencia-based, multidisciplinary studio, which has a strong international presence, was founded in 2003. It aims to develop the design of all kinds of objects and related or complete services, such as graphic design or commercial interior design. Our KNOWLEDGE and VISION of design give our products greater weight, meaning and an enduring appeal that transcends fleeting trends — qualities which distinguish them from those of other brands.

SERRAYDELAROCHA

Ferran Serra Solá (Griferia Tres, Bauet, Resol or Barceluna) and Oscar Vera de la Rocha (who, as product manager for Ricardo Bofill´s as Tallerdesign, has vorked for Valli&Valli, Figueras, DAE, Tesa and Plastic Omnium) created Serraydelarocha in 2006 (previously called Inventadisseny). Precision, strategy, creativity and passion are their founding principles. Their professional focus is on conceptualisation and product design, covering a diverse range of sectors including household appliances and items, applied electronics, consumer products, furnishings, bathroom and kitchen elements and accesories.

SILO STUDIO

Silo is the design studio of Spanish designer Attua Aparicio and her business partner Oscar Wanless. The studio was founded in London in 2011 with the aim of experimenting with industrial materials and processes in order to apply them to traditional craftworks. They have experimented with polystyrene in particular, a plastic that is often used for containers, from which they have created original pieces of furniture and a jewellery collection.

SILVIA CEÑAL DESIGN STUDIO

Silvia Ceñal, (1985, San Sebastian), after studying Technical Ingeneering in the University of Basque Country, she extended her knowledge in Groningen (Netherlands) and Florence (Italy). After a short period working in different studios in San Sebastian (Spain), she increased her know-how in furniture design at IED in Madrid. And then she continued her career at Stone Designs Studio. In 2015, she created her own studio in San Sebastian. Since then, she works with international companies of furniture and lighting sector, designing new products inspired by material's warmth and simplicity and the color's joy. Besides, is co-founder of Ohi Design Project, where they are dedicated to design basque furniture heritage.

Eva Pérez Rego 1974 and Cutu Mazuelos 1973 created Stone Designs in September 1995, just after finishing their studies at the IADE interior design school in Madrid. They are impulsive, passionate, direct, sincere, all of which is undoubtedly reflected perfectly in their pieces. Stone Designs always tries to provide new uses and solutions. SUSANA MARTINEZ ESTELLES

Susana Martínez Estellés is an industrial designer. Having worked for the trade fair in Valencia and the Ofifran firm designing collections of office furniture, in 2000 she decided to set up her own studio EstellésDesign. The studio is renowned for its versatility, carrying out urban, outdoor and office furniture projects, trade fair stands and lighting. She has also carried out a project for the Torry Harris restaurant chain in India, has worked with Vinçon Barcelona on a project sponsored by RED to create small kitchen ítems, and is currently developing furniture collections for VR platforms in the USA. She has a clear Mediterranean style, full of energy with a big personality. Ready to face new challenges where she expresses her creativity and offers customers a lively, sincere and innovative product, Susana Martínez works directly with companies in close collaboration, thereby creating an enriching professional relationship for both parties.

Tomás Alía is an international design studio that works in the field of interior design, industrial design and temporary exhibitions. TOMAS ALONSO

Tomás Alonso was born in Vigo in 1974. At the age of nineteen, he left his home town to move to the USA in order to study industrial design. At the same time, he also worked for an Italian car tyre design company. He lived in Italy and Australia before settling in London, where he did a Masters at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2006. He currently forms part of the Okay studio, which consists of a team of six designers of six different nationalities. The range and quality of his work has meant that Okay studio has received ample coverage in specialist design magazines such as Wallpaper or World of Interiors. Tomás Alonso, as well as producing his own personal work, also works for the architect Nigel Coates, who specialises in designer furniture produced in Italy. His designs are humanist in nature, and involve simple objects. His work is characterised by its functionality, as well as the romanticism of his pieces. From his recent work we can highlight the Mr. Light lamps, and Chair No. 7 (Nube), for which he was awarded first prize at the Italian design competition Promosedia.

VERÓNICA MAR

Verónica Mar is an artist and designer from Granada, Spain, based in Madrid. She was graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 2005 and in Interior Design from the Eina School in Barcelona in 2004. Since 2007, Verónica Mar has exhibited her artwork in some of some international renown design galleries, such as Rossana Orlandi (Milan), Les Ateliers Courbet (NY and Miami). Veronica is the first Spanish artist to exhibit in these galleries among architects and artists such as Frank Gehry, Marc Newson, Tadao Ando, Jasper Morrison, Ettore Sottsass. She also exhibited at the Mint gallery (London) and at The Wolfsonian Museum in Miami.  Her ’S-Sculpture,’ bench which has been designed in 2011 and the ‘Autumn Leaf,’ swing in 2012 have won several international design awards. Verónica has also realised various designs for brands such as Porcelanosa, Tribú, LAB23, Groël and more. Recently, she has installed a 3-meter wide master piece, the ‘Ginkgo chandelier’ at the Hotel Ana Crown Plaza Kobe in Japan for the international renown strategy company.

Since 2014, Verónica has showcased her sculptures at art fairs and galleries in London, Shanghai, Rome, Brussels, Barcelona, Madrid and Marbella and also realized artworks and designs for private collectors. The 'Verónica Mar, jewelry collection' will be exhibit 2019 at the ‘Sculpture to Wear gallery’ in Los Angeles. Verónica Mar’s main focus is to create unique pieces of art and designs and realizations for other brands.

VICTOR CARRASCO

Victor Carrasco  began his professional career after graduating cum laude with a degree in Design Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with multiple collaborations with prestigious international companies as creative and strategic director, communication management and product design. The studio has wide experience in international brand building, development and positioning thanks to its interest in the synthesis, balance, differentiation, sustainable growth and pragmatic prediction regarding future trends. 

VICTOR PINTO

After having worked at the prestigious Cubitera studio, where he was a founding partner, Víctor Pinto opened his own design studio. His work ranges from furniture, art direction, catalogues or interior design, although he is open and has an eye for other creative processes

VITERI LAPEÑA

The studio Viteri-Lapeña was co-founded by two designers from the architecture and interior design worlds, who offer a comprehensive design service for commercial spaces, hotels and private residences, nationally and internationally. Its team is made up of Aitor Viteri and Elena Lapeña who, between them, have a great deal of experience in overseeing and project-managing architecture, interior design and furniture design. They are both interior design graduates and each of their projects is unique and inimitable. ‘Every client, every project provides a challenge that allows our studio to keep growing,’ they say.

WANDA

Wanda Barcelona is a design studio that has specialised in the creation of ephemeral worlds since 2007. Borrowing both from design and the ancient tradition of origami, their work, which is pragmatic as well as timeless, takes us on a journey through magical atmospheres, where perspective is invariably subverted. Inti, the architect, is in charge of creating spaces that Dani, the designer, fills with unique objects while Iris, the artist in the family, surprises you with subtle tickles up your spine. They design and they build spaces. To do so, they use traditional techniques adapted to the new technologies of our time with the studio’s trademark style: the use of paper and cardboard.

XAVIER SOLÉ DESIGN

Xavier Solé studied industrial design at the Elisava School of Design in Barcelona. In 1983, he continued his training at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and worked in the studio, Agenzia Design. In 1986, he opened his own design studio in Barcelona. In 1992, he joined the company AMAT-3 as its Research and Development Director. There he contributed to developing successful products by well-known designers. In 2006, he began working for the company Grupo T Diffusion, taking the role of technical direction at the company, Tramo. In 2012, he reopened his industrial design studio to develop products for different companies.

XIMO ROCA DISEÑO

Advanced Technical of Engineering Design. During several years he has been coordinating design departments of renowned companies. In 1989 he created his own design studio: Ximo Roca Diseño, to develop global design services: management, product design, graphic design and interior design. His works have been published in renowned magazines and books of national and international design and has been recognised with numerous awards, including several nominations for the National Design Award (Premio Nacional de Diseño).

YANG:RIPOL DESIGN STUDIO

Yang:Ripol is a design studio founded in London in early 2011 by South Korean Yeonju Yang and Spaniard Claudio Ripol. Their work combines experience in the areas of product and interior design. Their philosophy is based on designs which are functional, durable, but also unique and special, and is informed by the multicultural nature of the studio. The studio balances between briefing-based and self-initiated projects, which dictates the work methodology.

YONOH

Yonoh is a design studio founded in 2006 by Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma, industrial designers, in Valencia, Spain. Uniting their creative inquisitiveness they create work on product graphic and interior design. Yonoh works on projects that differ for their simplicity and functionality, designs that exude freshness and uniqueness. During its career Yonoh has been awarded with the most prestigious design prizes worldwide as Red Dot, IF design award, Good Design or Wallpaper* Design Award among others.
